Boleslaw Rok, PhD. Associate Professor at Business Ethics Centre, Kozminski University, Warsaw. Founder of the Responsible Business Forum (2000), a membership organization working with some 40 companies in Poland, affiliated to CSR Europe. Member of the CSR expert group at the European Commission, Enterprise and Industry Directorate-General (2003-2007). Co-founder of Caux Round Table Poland. Co-founder of European Business Ethics Network Poland. Member of the CSR Platform at European Academy of Business in Society. Partner in several international CSR projects, like “Growing Inclusive Market” with UN and Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, “The CSR Navigator - Public Policies in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas”, with Bertelsmann Stiftung. Polish coordinator in the project “Accelerating CSR practices in the new member states and candidates countries as a vehicle for harmonization, competitiveness and social cohesion in the EU”, UNDP. Author of the first CSR Index for listed companies in Poland (2007, 2008) with Manager Magazin. Consultant and lecturer on CSR to many professional associations and multinationals. He was working with the Social Accountability International and Social Venture Network Europe, UN Global Compact, World Bank and some other organizations. Guest co-editor of the special issue of “Corporate Governance. The International Journal of Business in Society. Corporate Responsibility and Competitiveness”. Partner in consultancy Responsible Enterprise Poland.
